Alsyvox Botticelli X

A full-range ribbon loudspeaker known for precision, coherence, and a natural sense of musical scale.

Rather than emphasizing any single audiophile attribute, Botticelli X presents music with an ease that allows the character of the recording to emerge naturally. Nothing is pushed forward—the performance simply unfolds. The result is a presentation that feels balanced and coherent, inviting the listener to settle in and follow the music.

In this room, Alsyvox speakers have proven to be among the most technically precise loudspeakers I’ve worked with. The ribbon architecture contributes to exceptional speed and transparency while maintaining tonal integrity across the frequency spectrum.

Full-range ribbons have a remarkable ability to present space with precision. The Botticelli X produces a finely resolved stereo image, with voices and instruments occupying clearly defined locations within a soundstage extending well beyond the speakers. The presentation can feel remarkably close to sitting in the venue. Even as you move around the room, the tonal balance and spatial relationships remain convincing.

Driven by different amplification, the speaker reveals interesting variations in character. Solid-state amplification in particular exposes the Botticelli’s ability to produce remarkably deep and controlled bass—something ribbon loudspeakers have rarely delivered. Tube amplification, by contrast, introduces a slightly more relaxed and organic presentation. Exploring those differences becomes part of the pleasure of listening.

Listening sessions here are intentionally informal. The goal isn’t analysis—it’s connection with the music. Sometimes that means discovering something new in a familiar recording. Sometimes it simply means sitting back and enjoying the moment.

The Botticelli X can be heard in the listening room by appointment.
