The Diesis loudspeakers take a distinctive approach to musical realism. Their hybrid horn / open-baffle architecture conveys the scale and immediacy of live music while maintaining natural tonal balance. Instruments and voices seem to breathe, drawing you quickly into the performance.
In this room, the Romas reproduce musical scale with unusual authority. Large ensembles feel, well, like large ensembles! Smaller performances retain intimacy and focus, and when the music swells the speakers respond with a sense of ease that feels remarkably natural.
The Roma design is also highly efficient, allowing the speakers to pair beautifully with a wide range of amplification. Low-powered single-ended triode amplifiers can reveal an especially intimate and expressive character, while more powerful tube (or even solid-state) designs bring additional weight and gravitas.
